Spring Break Shakeout

When I get into heavy training or racing, my lower back and hips tighten up.  By accident, I discovered a great way to loosen up and strengthen stabilizing muscles.

Last fall, my kids started playing dance games on our Xbox Kinect.  It only took one time to convince me to join in.  After that, I was hooked.  I had so much fun with them that the dance game became my “go to” indoor activity to do with my kids.  I also noticed that my hip and back discomfort had significantly decreased.

My kids are on Spring Break right now, and I have the Dallas Rock and Roll Half Marathon on Sunday.  This is the perfect week to ROCK OUT with my kids!
